The i8, which was introduced by the brand Jaguar in 2020, is as much a concept car as it is a real-life vehicle. Four years after launch, the i8 holds the same sense of freedom and excitement as the original did. This is a car Jaguar has dubbed a “Racing Concept”. It looks more like a race car than a normal roadster. The rear end looks like a car, not like the front end of a roadster. The front end has four wheeled flaps, which are meant to help keep the car stable during cornering. They also help the driver make the car turn with the most smooth, possible movements. They can be controlled via a button placed under the steering wheel.
The i8 is powered by an electric motor that is located under the hood. The design of this motor is similar to the one found in the Jaguar E-series roadsters. It is very quiet as well. It is a direct drive motor that is a lot more powerful than what is used in most Jaguar models. So it makes the i8 not only very fast but also very nimble. It is so quick that a driver can accelerate from standstill to 62 miles per hour in just a quarter of a second.
